He is UNESCO professor and a scientific leader with extensive experience in educational technology and social media. Piet Kommers is a Ph.D. holder in Educational and Media Design, with a Master Degree in Pedagogy and a Bachelor Degree in Teacher Education. He received a prestigious academic award for innovation ‘Experimental Design’ and was offered a research position in the collaborative group for problem solving wherein he designed the ‘Concise Urban Planning Task’. He owns a long-term experience at management level coupled with a strategic appreciation and vision. Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, PhD in Educational Psychology, PhD in Education Studies. She has been teaching various courses on languages, psychology and education at the position of Professor at the departments of different universities of Europe for more than ten years. Prof. Dr. I. Sekret has extended administrative and organisational experience working in various educational establishments of higher education. Being an active participant and a designer of the international research and educational projects she is in charge for the development of IATELS, International Association for Technology, Education and Language Studies. She is a member of a number of academic committees for organising conferences, reviewing boards of journals and conference proceedings. At present she is the Chair of the Board of StartinForum International Consulting Company (Turkey) for managing international educational and research projects. Prof. Dr. I.Sekret is the author of more than 100 publications. Her research interests are in the areas of e-learning, educational technologies, contrastive linguistics, methods of teaching foreign languages, social media in learning, translation studies.
